1951 CROSLEY
11-115U AM This one is called a "left bulls eye" radio for obvious reason. Like most plastic Crosley radios, it was made in a variety of colors. |
1950 CROSLEY
10-136 AM Here's yet another Crosley with the automotive styling. This seems to be the main design theme Crosley followed in the early 50's. |

METAL RADIOS |
1949 SILVERTONE
7020 AM Called the "Candy Cane" model because of the shape of the tuning dial and how it extends across the front of the radio. These were originally made in both bakelite and metal, although the metal models were usually painted in some mundane color, not refinished in chrome and gold like this one. See more photos (Looks like an old toaster, eh?) - SOLD - |
1949 SILVERTONE
8003 AM Often called "metal midgets", because they are metal and they are small ! This is a 4 tube radio, it's only 6" wide and 5" high. The smallest tube radio in our collection. - SOLD - |
